Why buying and selling here works
Every listing carries the seller's trust score, their tier, and whether anyone from this site has physically met them.
- Reputation is attached to the person, not to a post that vanishes. It follows them across every board.
- Listings stay searchable. A sold item keeps its thread, so you can see what things actually went for.
- Nobody is anonymous. Posting needs a finished profile.
- Sort by trust and deal with the people who have the most to lose by messing you around.
Meeting to make the deal
- Meet in daylight, somewhere public. A mall entrance, a café on the boulevard, or outside a bank. All three have cameras and people.
- Bring someone for anything above a few thousand pesos.
- Test it before you pay. Start the engine, boot the laptop, run the aircon for ten minutes. A seller with nothing to hide expects this.
- Count the cash in front of them and hand it over only once you are holding the item.
- Ask for the receipt or box on electronics. Its absence is not proof of anything, but it changes what the item is worth.
The one rule that prevents almost every scam: no deposit before you have seen the item in person. A genuine seller will hold something for an hour while you travel. Nobody genuine needs money transferred first.
Buying a motorbike or scooter
- Check the OR and CR and confirm the engine and chassis numbers match the papers. This is the single most common problem here.
- Confirm the seller's name is on the CR, or that there is a clean chain of deeds of sale to them.
- An open deed of sale is a warning sign, not a convenience. It usually means the unit was never properly transferred.
- Ride it before you buy it, including up a hill and at speed.
- Budget for the transfer and do it immediately. Riding on someone else's registration is your problem, not theirs.
Selling well
- Put the price in the post. Listings without one get far fewer messages and endless asking.
- Say what is wrong with it. Naming the scratch sells the item; hiding it wastes a trip for both of you.
- Say where you are. Buyers filter by barangay because a cheap item an hour away is not cheap.
- Answer quickly. Your typical reply time shows on your profile, and buyers use it.
- Mark it sold rather than deleting. The thread becomes a price reference, and it counts towards your record.
What does not belong here
- Anything you cannot legally sell
- Fake or replica goods sold as genuine
- Live animals
- Investment schemes, lending offers, or recruitment dressed as a listing
- The same item posted repeatedly to stay at the top
Removed posts cost the poster twenty points and show on their record, which is why this board stays readable.
